Helmut Novy (born July 31, 1944) is a German ice hockey player, who competed for the SC Dynamo Berlin/Sportvereinigung (SV) Dynamo. He won the bronze medal at the European championships, 1966. He also competed at the 1968 Winter Olympics when the East German team finished in Eighth place out of 14. [1] [2]
During his earlier life, Novy enjoyed playing many other sports such as basketball and poker.
